Experienced USPA Licensed Skydivers
Our Requirements
We require you to be a USPA member. Please be sure your reserve is in
date and bring your identification (drivers license or passport) and
your signed log book with you. Your logbook is required to show
currency. You will need at least an "A" license if you have 30 or more
jumps. We have study guides and tests available to help you accomplish
this. Non-licensed skydivers are restricted to solo jumps. We host a
full schedule of skydiving events throughout the year.
Experienced Skydivers First-Time Visit Check-In
When you arrive at Kentucky Skydiving Center for your skydiving visit,
please check in at our office. Our helpful staff will walk you through
the waiver and orientation process and get you in the air as quickly as
possible. The Kentucky Skydiving Center staff can also provide other
helpful information such as where to pack, coaches and load organizers.
If they don't know the answer to your questions, they will find someone
who does!
The Waiver Process
You will pick up a waiver packet from the Kentucky Skydiving Center
staff.
Take the packet with:
- your gear (if you plan to rent gear just advise us when you
check in)
- your log book
- your current USPA membership card (if your membership is not
current, you can renew it when you check in. You must have a current
USPA membership to jump at Kentucky Skydiving Center)
- your ID (driver's license or passport)
to the Kentucky Skydiving Center USPA Safety and Training Advisor located on the drop zone. You will
receive an orientation briefing and shown an aerial photo of our
dropzone and then asked to complete and sign the waiver packet. Our
Safety & Training Advisor or Rigger
will inspect your gear.
Please note that a Pro-Track or similar devices can not be used to verify currency.
Paying for your Skydives
Kentucky Skydiving Center uses an "on account" system and does not issue
jump tickets except in special cases such as bulk sales. Jumpers put
money on their accounts at the counter.
Once you have completed the check-in process and have put money on
your jump account, you are ready to get your knees in the breeze!
